Utah Business curates “Legal Elite” each year to showcase top-rated attorneys throughout the state who have demonstrated high levels of professionalism and competence in their legal practice areas. The team behind “Legal Elite” collects thousands of votes from qualified legal professionals — including other lawyers and judges — in order to rank that year’s candidates. Only those who obtain enough votes to place in the top 10% of professionals in their respective practice areas are selected as finalists. Then, these finalists are vetted by a panel of 15 attorneys, who are appointed by the Utah State Bar to strike out any bias and ensure objectivity for every published edition of “Legal Elite.”
