Our attorneys at Cutt, Kendell & Olson have dedicated their careers to helping injured individuals pursue compensation from negligent parties. To date, this has amounted to over $500 million recovered for our clients, as well as recognition from our peers and industry organizations. Thus, we are very proud to announce that four of our attorneys have been selected to the 2021 Super Lawyers® guide and another four have earned 2021 Super Lawyers® Rising Stars recognition.
What Is Super Lawyers®?
Super Lawyers®, a Thomson Reuters subsidiary, lists no more than 5% of all practicing attorneys from coast to coast in its annual guide. Listees are selected via a rigorous, multiphase process. Not only must they first obtain a nomination from a third party, such as from their peers, they must also pass two reviews—an independent one by the Super Lawyers® research team and a Blue Ribbon Review by their renowned peers. Both these reviews are meticulous; for instance, the independent review covers 12 categories, including case results, pro bono work, representative clients, education and employment background, and more.
Upon passing these reviews, the following four Cutt, Kendell & Olson attorneys were selected for inclusion in 2021 Super Lawyers® for their work in Salt Lake City, Utah:
- Jacquelynn D. Carmichael (Super Lawyers® 2021)
- Personal Injury - Medical Malpractice: Plaintiff
- David A. Cutt (Super Lawyers® 2009-2021)
- Personal Injury - General: Plaintiff

- Jordan P. Kendell (Rising Stars 2009, 2011-2013; Super Lawyers® 2014-2021)

We are pleased to congratulate the above Cutt, Kendell & Olson attorneys on their selection to 2021 Super Lawyers®!
Rising Stars, an Early Career Attorney Guide
In addition to the annual Super Lawyers® guide, Super Lawyers® also develops the Rising Stars guide to recognize early career attorneys who meet the organization’s high standards. To qualify for Rising Stars recognition, attorneys must pass the same patented multiphase review and be either no older than 40 years old or in the first 10 years of their legal careers.
