Jordan P. Kendell
Bio
Jordan P. Kendell is the managing partner of Cutt, Kendell & Olson. He has represented injury victims his entire legal career. He has recovered millions of dollars for his clients, including multiple eight-figure settlements and seven-figure jury verdicts.
Mr. Kendell’s practice includes all areas of personal injury, with an emphasis on product liability, trucking accidents, construction accidents, Dramshop claims against bars, brain and spinal cord injuries, and wrongful death. Mr. Kendell has tried cases across the Intermountain West and has written and/or argued appeals to the Utah Supreme Court, the Utah Court of Appeals, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Kendell graduated Magna Cum Laude from law school in 2005. Just three years into his legal career, Mr. Kendell began being recognized by his peers for his outstanding work. He was named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers in 2009, Utah’s Legal Elite “Up & Comers” in 2011 by Utah Business Magazine, and one of “Utah’s Outstanding Young Lawyers” in 2012 by Salt Lake Magazine. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer since 2014, he has been named in US News’ “Best Lawyers in America” since 2019, and he has been named “Lawyer of the Year” in Salt Lake City twice by Best Lawyers in America (2023 – Plaintiffs Personal Injury Litigation, and 2024 – Plaintiffs Product Liability Litigation).
Mr. Kendell believes in making sure the insurance companies fully understand his client’s injuries. For example, the PDF links below were used to demonstrate the changes in the ventricles in a catastrophic brain injury case.
Using powerful imagery has allowed Mr. Kendell to help his clients recover millions of dollars.
When he is not representing clients, Mr. Kendell spends time with his wife and two boys skiing, playing soccer and football, and traveling.
